Special Note :
In the world of martial arts I have meet some of the most amazing Instructors. But nothing amazes me more than women who spend a lifetime dedicated to studying/training in martial arts and becoming just as good as any man in the martial arts! ( if not better ) I have never been taught nor agree that men are better in martial arts than women. Women bring balance to martial arts training and teaching. In fact 2 of my best Instructors are women (Black Belt, June Castro and Rita Suwanda.Women rarely bring the "ego" into a school and are sometimes better able to teach and train a student than a man.Women add many great things to the world of martial arts. So many I cannot list here.Just a few facts I thought I would share on 12-12 -12...women bring balance in the martial arts !! Believe it or not, like it or not, but its the truth !
I was researching silat for my writing and came across this cool website. My wife is from Malaysia. I love the Nusantara Archipelago 14th century map! "Women bring balance in the martial arts!!" I heartily agree with this statement.--I would like to add that when women are just themselves and don't try to be "like men", they bring amazing balance, grace, beauty, and power to the martial arts.
ReplyDeleteYeah really amazing, these women turned their life with this martial art form and they are very cool.
