I was honored to perform Bunga Cantik Pencak Silat for the 9th time at Indonesia Day 2012. I was also honored to perform for Rennie Saunders and his students at this event as well.

Bunga Cantik Pencak Silat -USA
Greetings from Rocky Twitchell ! I have been studying Pencak Silat since 1995. My first introduction to Pencak Silat was through a student named Arturo in Elk Grove California. Arturo was a guest introducing Silat to Karate students. I was hooked when I saw him perform his graceful Jurus in his Sarong. Larry Hartsell and Dan Inosanto would later propel me further into the study of many styles of Pencak Silat.
William De Thouras had a major influence in my Silat in the late 1990's as well.
Currently I train with Joel Champ of Seni Gayong
& Rita Suwanda of Mande Muda
& also Dan Mattos of Kuntao Silat Hawaii
I'm deeply humbled and grateful for the many Silat Instructors I have trained with over the years. I look foward to training and keeping my goals worthy and fitting to be a Silat Instructor under these great individuals.
In the year 2005 I founded Bunga Cantik Pencak Silat ( Beautiful Flower Pencak Silat)
The movments we demonstrate look fluid and graceful but the self protection aspects of the Bunga Cantik are extremly deadly.
