Scouting for a better camp site for the Sierra Buttes Pencak Silat Camp 5/18/13

My wife and I had a fantastic idea right after my Exotic Weapons Seminar, go scout out a better campsite intstead of sitting home and looking on the internet, so off we went! I took some extra time and decided to shorten our hike up to the lookout tower at 8,000 ft to just 4 miles up by choosing to camp at Pack Saddle campground rather than hike 6 miles from the base of Sardine Lake Campground . I booked 2 campsites and this is our view from the camp site at PackSaddle camp !
The smell of pine trees and the sweet smell Packer Lake just less than 200 yards away !
WOW ! ..... this is where I grew up...oh...... why ......did I leave........why ??
